Shimla – (April 10, 2022) – Putting an end to all speculations on change in leadership in Himachal Pradesh before coming assembly election this year, the BJP national president J P Nadda announced today that there won’t be any change in leadership in the state and forthcoming assembly poll would be fought under the present CM Jai Ram Thakur who was performing well in governance.
The national BJP president also ruled out chances of any reshuffle in the present Jai Ram Thakur cabinet, saying that everything is well with the functioning of the state government.
Nadda also hinted that those who have crossed the age bar of 75 years are most unlikely to get the party ticket in the coming assembly election in Himachal Pradesh. He answered a query raised by local media about the possibility of former Chief Minister PK Dhumal contesting the coming assembly election in Himachal Pradesh.
Nadda also said that the present MLAs would get tickets with 10 to 15 percent likey to be dropped as was usually done by the party in assembly elections.
