One person was killed and one seriously injured in a road accident that occurred at Daghoghi near Mashobra about ten kms from Shimla city in the intervening night, said Shimla district police.
“Two persons were travelling in a pick up vehicle which wheeled off the road, falling into the gorge killing one of them on the spot and second injured was referred to the apex hospital in Shimla,” said Shimla police.
The deceased was identified as Suraj, a Nepalese son of Pahal Bahadur. The injured have been shifted to the IGMC hospital in Shimla city, informed the police.
