Himachal Pradesh Flag Hanging Case: Police Make One Arrest, Hunt is on for Second

Himachal Pradesh police today morning arrested one person from Rupnagar in Morinda district in Punjab, suspected to be involved in flag hanging on wall and gate of state assembly in Dharamshala, revealed Himachal Pradesh chief minister Jai Ram Thakur in Delhi today.

A team headed by AIG, Vimukat Ranjan who is known for his investigation expertise, is involved in cracking this high profile case.
The suspect, Harbir Singh son of Rajinder Singh hails from ward No 1 of Rupnagar in Morinda district of Punjab.

According to the reliable sources, Himachal Pradesh police also raided the house of second suspect, Paramjeet Singh of Chamakpur in Ropar district of Punjab but he was not found at his home.

With the nabbing of one suspect and second absconding, Himachal Pradesh police is believed to have cracked the high profile case which was inviting political trouble for the ruling Jai Ram government in Himachal Pradesh.
