The Nation Highway -707 connecting Hatkoti in Shimla district to Poanta Sahib in Sirmour district in Himachal Pradesh has been blocked, following a landslide at Timbi in Sirmour today morning, said a spokesman of Himachal Pradesh Disaster Management Authority here.
The district administration, the PWD department and National Highway Authority have been informed and the road clearance work is in progress to restore the highway.
Himachal Pradesh has been hit by many landslide and disaster during the past two days following heavy rains across the state with rivers and streams in full spate and shooting stones incidents taking many lives.
