Five persons were killed as overspeeding car crashed against a pole on the edge of road Kuthar Kalan in Una in Himachal Pradesh yesternight, said Una district police.
“At the stroke of midnight an overspeeding car with five people sitting inside collided against a pole raised by the side of road and rolled down into the fields killing two on the spot. Three others seriously injured died on the way to the hospital to Una,” said Una district police.
All the deceased have been identified, four hailing from Una district and one from Punjab, added Una police.
After performing autopsy, bodies have been handed over to their relatives and police were investigating the case.
