Shimla – (Feb. 12)- Himachal Pradesh is likely to see fresh snow on upper mountains and rains on the mid and low hills with the arrival of a fresh western disturbance and its interaction with tropical easterlies from 13 th of 15 th of February, said Shimla Met office here today.
Met office also forecast chances of hailstorm over low hills.
During the last twenty four hour Himachal Pradesh saw a rise in the mercury with sky partly cloudy today, day without winds.
Keylong in Lahaul-Spiti was the coldest place in the state at minimum of -9.6 degree Celsius, Kapla was shivering at -3.0 degree Celsius.
In Shimla the weather was better with the rise in temperature with minimum touching 7.4 degree Celsius, Manali 0.6 degree and Dalhousie 6.4 degree Celsius.
Shimla, Manali, Dalhousie Narkanda, Kufri, Kharapather and Sarahan are the tourists places which are likely to receive snowfall in the coming days.
