Shimla- (Feb.5) – Three and an half hour after Chamba was jolted by the tremor, Himachal Pradesh’s was shook again with Mandi district experiencing an earthquake measuring 3.8 on the Richter scale, Shimla Met Office said here tonight.
“The second earthquake measuring 3.8 on the Richter scale jolted Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh on Tuesday late evening, though there have been no loss of life or properties,” said Shimla Met Regional Director Manmohan Singh here.
Shimla Regional Met Office also said the quake, which struck at 7.33 pm, was 15 km deep. The location was at latitude 31.7 N and longitude 76.8 E in Mandi district in Himachal Pradesh with no loss of life or property reported till now.
